Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform the mechanical analysis for electric machine design
- Lead/support the mechanical design of electric machines
- Collaborate with interfacing disciplines of electric machine design and test
- Support the electric machine concept development for hybrid applications
Required Qualifications
- Master diploma in mechanical engineering or related fields; experience with electrical machines and mechanical design, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Advanced expertise in 2D/3D mechanical and heat transfer analysis (e.g., ANSYS) and proficiency with CAD and PLM tools (e.g., Siemens NX, TeamCenter).
- Experience in rotor dynamics analysis, gearbox integration, and validating electric machine technology through prototyping and lab testing.
- Proven system thinker with strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
