member of the Hybrid Electric team within GE Aerospace, located in Garching near Munich. You will work on exciting projects like the next generation single aisle aircraft propulsion system with hybridization (RISE) or the next generation hybrid regional propulsion system (AMBER).

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform the electric design analysis for hybrid-electric propulsion system
• Lead/support the electric propulsion system modelling and simulation
• Collaborate with interfacing disciplines of hybrid-electric aerospace propulsion
  Support the electric system development for hybrid applications

Required Qualifications

• Master diploma in electrical engineering or related fields; experience with electrical propulsion systems and components (e.g., electric machines, power converters, energy storage, control).
• Strong background in transient/dynamic electric system theory, time-domain analysis tools (e.g., Matlab, PLECS), and EMI/EMC of electric propulsion systems.
• Electric system design experience, preferably in hybrid-electric applications, and hands-on validation through prototyping and laboratory testing.
• Proven ability to think systemically and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
