We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Protection Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of protective relay settings and coordination studies for transmission, distribution, generation, and renewable energy systems. This role involves technical leadership, project coordination, and hands-on support for commissioning and compliance activities. Key Responsibilities Perform short-circuit analysis, symmetrical component analysis, time-current coordination, and relay settings development. Develop protection schemes for various systems including transmission lines, transformers, generators, motors, and renewable energy sources. Conduct event analysis, troubleshooting, and NERC PRC compliance reporting. Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and support on-site commissioning and testing. Create and review design documentation including one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited or equivalent). Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in system protection engineering. Proficiency in fault analysis and system modeling tools (e.g., ASPEN, CAPE, ETAP, EasyPower). Strong knowledge of relay coordination and protective settings for systems from 12.47 kV to 345 kV (experience with 500 kV and 765 kV is a plus). Familiarity with NERC PRC standards and compliance practices. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Mathcad is a plus. Willingness to travel 10-30% for on-site technical support.
