Global IS Applications Manager - Finance ABB Robotics

At ABB Robotics, we are looking for an experienced and visionary IS Applications Manager to lead our finance applications landscape, including treasury systems. In this role, you will be at the forefront of harmonizing and optimizing finance operations through innovative application management, working closely with business stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners.

You will lead a multinational, cross-functional team and ensure that our finance applications are aligned with business strategy, integrated into the Robotics and IS architecture, and delivering value across the organization.

You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of finance applications, from strategy and governance to delivery and support. This includes managing budgets, ensuring compliance with ABB's IS standards, and contributing to the broader IS strategy in collaboration with the IS Finance Head and other leaders.

The position is global. The preferred location is Poland.

Your responsibilities:

• Own and govern the finance applications roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and increasing adoption across the organization.
• Collaborate with senior business stakeholders (BPO, GPO, CFO) to define requirements, outcomes, and business cases for application services.
• Lead a global team of internal and external resources, fostering collaboration across cultures and geographies.
• Ensure high-quality application services, managing SLAs, OLAs, and vendor relationships to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.
• Drive standardization and harmonization of finance applications, contributing to business value through innovative and compliant IS solutions.

You'll work in a dynamic, evolving environment where processes and tools are still being shaped. Your ability to lead through complexity, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver results in a virtual, outsourced setting will be key to your success.

The position is global. The preferred locations is Polen.

Your background

• Master's degree and 5+ years of IT experience in application management, including 3+ years in a global leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing finance-related applications and delivering business value through IT.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and application lifecycle management.
• Experience leading diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
