SPIE Global Service Energy currently hiring for Commissioning Technician - Mechanical for Onshore Project in Basra, Iraq.
Its a rotational role- 28/28
Job Description -
Support commissioning and start-up activities related to Commissioning Technician - Mechanical systems on the onshore oil & gas project. Work with the commissioning team to prepare, test, and hand over systems safely and on time.
Main Responsibilities-
• Assist in commissioning of mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, rotating equipment).
• Follow commissioning procedures and instructions from supervisors.
• Carry out alignment checks, pressure tests, and functional checks.
• Report problems and support troubleshooting activities.
• Record commissioning results and complete check sheets.
• Respect HSE rules and ensure safe working conditions at all times.
• Support punch list activities and handover to operations.
Profile
Requirements-
• Iraqi nationals from Basra region.
• Technical diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in oil & gas mechanical maintenance or commissioning.
• Knowledge of pumps, compressors, rotating equipment, and piping systems.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to safety.
