About the Role
The purpose of this role is to successfully deliver the IT projects required to deliver the CHEC Technology Roadmap. The Project Manager will focus on critical IT projects, including the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) 2.0 Programme, from design through to implementing the changes throughout the organisation.
The successful candidate will focus on the delivery of enhancements and developments to our systems to enable our business plan and strategic vision to become a truly data and technology enabled healthcare provider.

We are looking for someone who can:
- Development and maintenance of the project plan.
- Monitor overall performance of the project to ensure it is on track to meet strategic objectives.
- Tracking costs and benefits realisation.
- Drive delivery via agile ceremonies, spring planning etc.
- Manage third party delivery in line with overall plan.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders .
- Ensure the programme complies with organisational policies, procedures and legal standards.
- Triage, prioritise and manage all BAU requests for IT system changes.
- Internal and external reporting of status, risks, issues and dependencies. In line with the CHEC Project Governance Framework.
- Maintain accurate programme documentation and governance frameworks, ensuring auditability and transparency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication on progress, risks, and changes.
- Facilitate regular project updates to senior leadership, highlighting key achievements and addressing concerns.
- Tracking costs and benefits realisation.
- Allocate resources effectively across the programme, balancing the needs of various projects.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Significant experience of Project management, including the ability to manage complex projects and initiatives.
- Experience delivery application development projects.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and developing software using cloud native technology.
- Extremely well organised and methodical
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration
- Able to work effectively in teams with enough gravitas to co-ordinate them.
- Experience of working with senior level management.
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges and implement evidence-based solutions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands on delivery management driving progress against milestones.
- Experience working within the Healthcare Sector is desirable, but not essential.
