Enersense Engineering Oy is currently looking for a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our client's team at a state-of-the-art biofuel production facility in Bergen, Norway. You will play a key role in optimizing plant operations and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient and sustainable production. Start of the project is in January 2026 and the duration will be 12 months, position ideal for a driven individual with a passion for renewable energy and experience in chemical or bio-process engineering.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Oversee daily process operations at the biofuel facility
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on process reliability, safety, and sustainability
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations and laboratory teams to troubleshoot process issues
- Support the commissioning and testing of new equipment or process modifications
- Maintain compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations
- Provide technical leadership and guidance
- Report on plant performance and contribute to strategic planning and reporting cycles
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering or related field
- Previous experience in process engineering industry, ideally in the biofuels, oil & gas or energy sector
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities-project coordination or supervisory experience
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of industrial safety and environmental compliance standards
- Good English skills, Nordic language skills considered as a benefit
