Your Role

AsBackend Engineer Electrical Engineering (all genders)you will be part of an engineering squad with strong knowledge of electrical engineering, coding, databases, and software architecture.Together, you drive the topics surrounding electrical power system engineering and electrical/mathematical models and algorithms, have an impact on the experience of our users, our organization, and our engineering practices.

• You are part ofa cross-functionaldepartmentand team(backend,frontend, DevOpsdevelopers,designandproductowner) and developstate of the artelectrical engineering relatedapplications which bringeffectivecustomer value
• Youdesign,enhanceand implementelectrical engineering workflows andmathematicalsolversin accordancewiththe current state of technologyandbestpractices
• Youare part of theconceptualizingand developing ofprofessional backend solutions to continuously evolveourproduct in an agile working environmenttogetherwith the other cross-functionalsquadsin the engineering department

Your Profile

• You have a background in electrical engineering, a closely related engineering field or have a strong mathematical background (e.g. mechanical energy engineering, applied computer science, engineering physics, ...) and are highly interested in extending your knowledge in the field of electrical engineering and calculations for power systems continuously
• You are a team player and passionate about working with talented and inspiring people
• You are looking for technical challenges and pride yourself in finding smart and creative solutions
• You have experience with Pythonandpossibly otherprogramming languages like C++, Go or Rust, ideally in the contextof electrical engineeringand mathematicalalgorithms
• You are eager and passionate about writingstate of the artsoftware as major part of your daily work
• You are business-fluent in English (Level C1)
• Ideally you are familiar withparts of our techstack, with current software design principlesand are looking forward to keeping up with current industry best practices
