Commissioning Technologist - Processing Lines (f/m/d)

SIE HANDELN

Your responsibilitiescover the worldwide commissioning of processing lines and rolling mills forflat products. You will be responsible for:

• Preparation and implementation of commissioningof plant equipment and process set-up for flat products. Familiarity with thevarious processes involved in strip processing, such as joining processes(welding or stitching), cutting processes (shearing or side trimming), thermalprocessing, and coating processes (application of metallic coatings and paints)is essential
• Optimizing process parameters tosecure the product quality and production capacity targets
• Analyzing operating data withfocus on mechanical systems, automation equipment and processes
• Drawing up optimization measuresand initiating relevant measures in the commissioning team
• Conducting and documenting theacceptance tests
• Independently carrying out serviceassignments for repairs and maintenance
• Feeding the main operating resultsback into the company
• Training our customers

SIE WISSEN

You have a degree inengineering or have completed technical/industrial vocational training withrelevant further upskill qualifications (rolling mill foreman); you should alsohave:

• Experience in the practicaloperation of processing lines, cold rolling mills in steel, aluminum or copper industry
• Knowledge and experience ofmechatronic systems
• Knowledge for Evaluating PlantData
• Good written and spoken English
• An independent and target-orientedapproach to work
• Teamworking skills, openness,strong ability to perform under stress
• A willingness to travel onbusiness for long periods of time
• Willingness to relocate is notrequired - if possible, you will be deployed close to your place ofresidence
