Opportunity: Project Manager - WPS (Planned Works)
Location: Covering contracts across the Midlands
Focus: SHDF energy, net zero carbon works including EWI, PV, and ASHP installations
Wates has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team within the Planned Works division. You'll be leading the delivery of energy efficiency and carbon reduction schemes across planned properties in the Midlands, helping drive our commitment to sustainability and innovation .
This is a high-impact role where you'll provide visible leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to ensure safe and profitable delivery of projects.

This is a high-impact role where you'll provide visible leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to ensure safe and profitable delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed programmes and schedules for accurate progress tracking
- Define and embed quality expectations into the project's Quality Plan
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and company Health & Safety requirements
- Secure and manage resources to deliver projects effectively and professionally
- Oversee smooth handover processes and support customers/end users
- Establish a communications plan and clarify team accountabilities
What We're Looking For
Ideally, you'll have experience working for a main contractor on similar projects, with knowledge of:
- Elevational treatments
- EWI decorative panelling
- Replacement windows
