As a Marine Engineer, you'll be involved in designing, maintaining, and optimizing shipboard and offshore mechanical systems, ensuring performance, safety, and sustainability.

We're currently partnering with leading companies in the Maritime, Offshore, and Energy sectors to connect with professionals who bring deep technical expertise and a passion for marine systems and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop marine systems including propulsion, HVAC, fuel, ballast, and auxiliary systems
• Prepare technical specifications, system layouts, and performance calculations
• Ensure compliance with classification society rules and international maritime regulations
• Collaborate with naval architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines
• Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities
• Participate in client meetings and provide engineering input throughout project phases
• Contribute to innovation in sustainable marine technologies and system integration

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in marine systems design, operation, or maintenance (junior to senior roles available)
• Familiarity with shipbuilding, offshore platforms, or marine energy systems
• Knowledge of IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, and classification society standards
• Proficiency with engineering tools and software (e.g. AutoCAD, Aveva Marine, ShipConstructor, or similar)
• Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
