Are you a talented Naval Architect looking to work on innovative and technically challenging projects in the Netherlands? As a Naval Architect, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of vessels and offshore structures, contributing to projects that span commercial shipping, offshore energy, and advanced marine technologies.

Function description

We're currently partnering with leading engineering and maritime firms to connect with professionals who are passionate about ship design, performance, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze ship structures, hull forms, and marine systems
• Perform hydrostatic, hydrodynamic, and stability calculations
• Develop technical documentation, specifications, and 3D models
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, structural, and marine engineers
• Support classification and regulatory compliance processes
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical input throughout design and construction phases
• Contribute to innovation in sustainable shipbuilding and marine engineering

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in ship design or offshore structures (junior to senior roles available)
• Proficiency with design and analysis tools (e.g. Rhino, Maxsurf, AutoCAD, ShipConstructor, OrcaFlex)
• Understanding of IMO, SOLAS, and classification society rules
• Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
