JOB DESCRIPTION

This contract is working on a joint venture project in the Saudi at pre-FEED stage comprising multiple on-shore PAUS up to 8000mt. The scope includes the development of all standards and procedures to client standards and all requirements for modular construction in a far-eastern module facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Taking on responsibility for implementation and management of weight control process on major oil and gas project
• Preparation of regular project weight control reports
• Set-up, data acquisition and data entry for Wood weight control database (Access)
• Custodian and interrogation of historical data from existing database for use in benchmarking, checking and estimating weights
• Direct responsibility for weight control to project manger
• Direct interaction with clients and discipline lead engineers

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven familiarity and application of ISO 19901-5 from the development of project weight control procedures to final out-turn weight prediction including the derivation of weight database using the S3D
• UK Bachelors Degree or equivalent in an appropriate Engineering Discipline subject
• A pro-active approach to solving problems and getting the job done
• Self-motivated, energetic and tenacious
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels up to top management
• IT/Computer Literate
• An open attitude to the role's responsibilities
• Good management skills
• Willing to be part of a Project Team with consideration of other discipline inputs
