This Position reports to:
Global Trade & Transportation Manager

The Sourcing Analyst is responsible for assessing transport market trends and conducting sourcing events for both ad-hoc spot requirements as well as annual freight contracts. The Sourcing Analyst will help support and execute ABB's procurement strategy for transport services.

The work model for the role is: hybrid.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Trade Transport and Logistics globally.

Key Accountabilities:

• Prepare and analyse RFQs (Request for Quotations), using electronic procurement tools for logistics commodities Air, Road, Ocean, Rail and Express
• Prepare market price analysis and keep up with market developments
• Supports the development of Sourcing Strategy within ABB's Strategic Sourcing Framework (CIPS)
• Supports supply base and contract management
• Supports global transportation procurement teams and internal stakeholders
• Maintains current rates in tools (dashboards, calculators, Transport Management System where applicable)
• Provides cover and support for T&L reporting analysts (as and when required)
• Create and maintain templates to support sourcing processes
• KPI measurement and Analytics

Qualifications for the role:

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years' experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Highly motivated; results oriented; able to learn quickly
• Asks questions; challenges assumptions
• Attention to detail; organized
• Advanced Excel skills (experience in PowerQuery will be advantage)
