This role exists within a rapidly growing power trading business, supported by a robust pipeline of projects with ambitious timelines. As TotalEnergies Gas & Power Trading (TGP) and Global Renewables & Power (GRP) continue to evolve to meet increasing business demands, the organization is undergoing significant transformation. The dynamic nature of the commodity markets, coupled with frequent regulatory changes, adds complexity and urgency to our operations. Additionally, the intricate and time-sensitive requirements of Independent System Operators (ISOs) and Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs) are critical to maintaining our market eligibility. Without a dedicated representative in this role, we risk delays, miscommunication, and potential disruptions that could impact our market access or result in financial penalties.
Activities
• Serve as the primary liaison between the company and RTO/ISO entities, act as the company's lead representative and first point of contact for all ISO-related matters and activities and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including ISO personnel to ensure clear, consistent communication, translating complex information into actionable insights.
• Proactively, plan and coordinate successful submission of recurring deliverables, statements, fees, and documents to meet ISO deadlines. Work closely with TGPNA department and desk managers as well as other TotalEnergies stakeholders as required by the project scope. Ensure effective governance, management, and process setup to successfully complete the delegated tasks.
• Develop and manage a formal process for handling Request for Information (RFI) and other ISO/RTO inquiries, and follow-up actionable tasks through completion, involving Legal, Market Compliance, Trading desks, Operations, Finance, Credit, Internal Control, Trading support, and IT. Ensure that any responses are communicated in a way that balances the technical information with the need to protect company's best interests.
• Manage the full end-to-end process of new market applications and inquiries, including coordination of submissions, tracking, reporting, and follow-up. Responsible for requesting the ISO/RTO, on behalf of internal stakeholders, to make changes and updates that pertain to membership account records, contact information, subaccount/ asset registration, company designations including the ISO portal administrators and Voting members.
• Develop a training program and training calendar to ensure that the company meets the training requirements of the RTO/ISO entities.
• Develop deep proficiency in navigating ISO/RTO portals and tools, ensuring the ability to efficiently locate, update, and manage critical information. As necessary, provide support and updates to the internal NWA process that administers and
• validates access to the different ISO portals/tools.
• Lead the co-ordination with other US TotalEnergies affiliates on communications, compliance and technical issues associated with ISO/RTO entities that affect multiple TotalEnergies entities.
• Collaborate with Trading operations to integrate ISO timelines into broader project plans and assessments and advise leadership on trends and developments that may impact business operations.
• Communicate critical ISO information and new operating procedure changes, reporting requirements and deadlines to ensure adaptation and smooth integration across the desks.
• Manage the company's access to Critical Energy Infrastructure Information (CEII) through familiarity with FERC and ISO/RTO requirements, development of a company policy, training and ongoing management and monitoring of access to, storage and deletion of CEII
• To the extent required and appropriate, attend, participate in and advocate for the company and/or TotalEnergies at ISO/RTO meetings.

• Coordination of recurring and ad-hoc operational, legal, technical, and financial ISO/RTO requests Qualifications/Experience required
• A bachelor's degree in business, or management degree (preferably a Master/MBA) and 10+ years of relevant work experience in the energy sector
• Experience in ISO/RTO operations, account management, and knowledge in ISO applications and processes (e.g., PJM, CAISO, and ERCOT), and energy project development.
• Familiarity with the technical issues associated with being a participant in an RTO/ISO.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to engage effectively with both commercial and technical teams.
• Demonstrated track record leading ISO market participant negotiations and approvals through contract execution.
• Familiarity with ISO platforms and portals such as OATI, OASIS, PJM eTools, MISO GI Queue, CAISO AIM and CIDI, SPP Portal/RMS, and ERCOT MIS/RIOO
• Familiarity with power and gas trading activities
• Strong influencing skills, approachable personality, and positive thinker
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate clearly and succinctly.
