JOB DESCRIPTION

At NOV, we take pride in building quality products that power the world. We're looking for a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our fast-paced team in Navasota, Texas. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our products meet industry and company standards - all while gaining valuable skills, working with experienced professionals, and enjoying a supportive, safety-focused environment.

What You'll Do:

• Inspect welded and machined parts to verify compliance with product specifications.
• Clearly communicate inspection results and work closely with production teams to resolve any quality issues.
• Record inspection data and track non-conformances for daily reporting.
• Mark and serialize materials using standard shop tools and steel stamps.
• Read and interpret product drawings to determine acceptance criteria.
• Use measuring tools such as dial calipers, micrometers, and pit gauges with precision and confidence.
• Work in both indoor and outdoor environments-standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout your shift.
• Follow all NOV and HSE safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a math and reading comprehension test with a minimum score of 80%
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to pass an industrial eye exam (near visual acuity).
• A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to quality.
