Commissioning Support Officer - Commissioning for Children, Young People and Families

Part Time - 30 hours per week

Solihull Children's Services is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated Commissioning Support Officer to join our Commissioning For Children, Young People and Families service .Working 30 hours per week you will work with Commissioners and colleagues from other service areas to support with the delivery of the commissioning function within Children's Services.

Your role will combine sound record keeping, data analysis and research to support the successful delivery of the commissioning function over a wide range of projects and services. You will also provide administrative and project support for contract management and service development.

To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Educated with five GCSEs including Maths and English, or equivalent
  • Experience of analysing and drawing conclusions from information from a range of sources, and of interpreting trend information
  • Experience of contract management
  • Ability to establish, develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers
  • Experience of involvement in the development, implementing and monitoring of processes and procedures
  • Experience of working efficiently to deliver work within tight deadlines
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
