About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Planning Engineer to oversee the execution of complex energy projects. The Lead Planning Engineer will lead planning efforts, manage schedules, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Leading project planning and scheduling activities for construction execution. The role begins in the Houston home office, supporting Home Office Construction & Subcontract packages preparation & Clarifications, and transitions to the construction site after approximately 18 months to oversee field execution planning.

About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Planning Engineer to oversee the execution of complex energy projects. The Lead Planning Engineer will lead planning efforts, manage schedules, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Leading project planning and scheduling activities for construction execution. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide planning services in accordance with Group and regional procedures and contract requirements.
- Develop schedules aligned with the selected execution strategy to mitigate risks and reduce costs.
- Define and optimize necessary resources for Site Construction.
- Establish planning systems including methods, procedures, time schedules, physical progress tracking, and dashboards.
- Lead the construction planning team and manage operational planning activities.
- Overseeing the subcontractor and communicating with the client onsite.
- Support the Client approval process for schedule baselines, progress claims, and milestone achievements.
- Monitor project status to detect delays and propose corrective actions.
- Conduct Extension of Time (EOT) analysis for delays due to client-related changes.
- Increase project team awareness of milestones, durations, and critical paths.
- Provide feedback and lessons learned to improve planning and scheduling practices.

About You

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent diploma.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in project execution and planning.
- Advanced proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6,AWP,).
- Strong understanding of industry standards in planning and project control.
- Experience with progress measurement systems and schedule risk analysis.
- Familiarity with EPCI work process sequences.
- Experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) execution approach
- Experience with working on a field construction site or in a module yard fabrication facility.
- Ability to identify deviations from standards and propose improvements.
- Prior experience working on Construction Site for mega projects within the oil and gas industry
