Short description

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Pit Bottom Worker to support operations on an E Power Pipe project in Ringgau, Germany. This trenchless technology project involves underground pipe installation using a method similar to microtunnelling. The Pit Bottom Worker plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and safe operations at the bottom of the launch and reception shafts.

Function description

• Assist with the setup and operation of equipment in the pit bottom area
• Support pipe installation and guidance during tunnelling operations
• Ensure safety protocols are followed in confined spaces
• Coordinate with crane operators and site supervisors for material handling
• Perform cleaning, maintenance, and inspections of the pit area
• Work in rotation, including night shifts when required

Requirements

• Past experience working in trenchless technology projects
• Physically fit and comfortable working underground
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Good English skills
• Work permit in Germany / EU ID Card (mandatory)
• Safety certifications (confined space, first aid) are a plus
