Job Description Summary

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician Coordinator will build, maintain, and advance maintenance department Work Orders and Preventative Maintenance systems.

Essential responsibilities:
  • Maintain and use Maximo and EHS database and sourcing systems.
  • Audit and validate all asset, work order and purchasing data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain Maximo PM custom reports and work order databases for Facilities Maintenance Team.
  • Develop and maintain productive, working relationships with Independent Contractors by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solving problems.
  • Manage inspections, customer complaints, and customer requests.
  • Support various assigned projects, lean initiatives and special individual duties as required
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as required.


Qualifications/Requirements
  • Associates degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance).
  • Active Journeyman's electrical license required.


Desired Characteristics
  • Strong computer skills/proficiency in the use of computer systems and current office suite programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Building, facilities, janitorial or similar industry experience.
  • Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-driven individual able to learn and solve problems with minimal supervision.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to handle change and work with varied personalities.
