Role Description
Job Purpose:
The purpose of the role is to:
- Assist the Procurement Excellence Director with maintaining and publishing governance controls and processes.
- Support monitoring compliance of adherence to processes and help drive corrective action both internally and externally across third party suppliers (in conjunction with the owner of the commercial relationship).
- Support with reporting and analysis across procurement spend and ESG requirements.
- Provide Procurement function with insight on commodity trends and market analysis and support with supplier discovery.
- Maintain quality of Procurement data used in source to contract/source to pay processes and assist with providing training to procurement teams.
- Support with evaluation on tenders and sourcing events.

- Internal contacts: Procurement, Sales, Commercial, Finance, Technical, NPD, Operations, Corporate Relations, Legal.
- External contacts - Suppliers, customers.
- Travel may be required.
Role Requirements
Principal Accountabilities:
- Maintain governance tools and processes for procurement teams.
- Responsible for quality of data used in source to contract/source to pay system.
- Provide source to pay/source to contract process training to Procurement teams as required.
- Assess, analyse and report on supplier performance and support procurement teams where required.
- Manage the validation and collation of procurement metrics such as monthly savings, payment terms, rebate reports, tracking and support for supplier claims.
- Assist with preparation of data for use at monthly business meetings.
- Help identify new sources of supply for potential inclusion in tenders.
- Provide support with cost modelling and spend analytics and with evaluation of tenders and/or sourcing events.
- Manage the gathering and publishing of key market insights and benchmarks.
- Support with the collation of information required for ESG and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications/ Knowledge/ Experience
- Good understanding of end-to-end procurement processes (S2P/S2C).
- Degree in business related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years professional experience in an analyst or buying role.
- Knowledge of supplier relationship management and continuous improvement programs.
- Experienced in the use of Procurement related technologies such as source to pay, contract management systems and ERP systems such as SAP/SAP Ariba..
- Aware of contracting processes and knowledge of key contractual elements such as liabilities and indemnities.

- Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel/Word and Visio).
