About The Mission We Offer You
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Package Engineer to join us on a staff basis to work on Energy Transition, olefins, refinery and petrochemical projects located in both domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Organizing and developing work in accordance with specifications, schedule, and budgets.
- Reporting to the project manager and your discipline lead.
- Drafting technical files, HVAC specifications, and standards for all project phases (FEED, EPC).
- Designing and selecting the most suitable system based on various parameters (performance, cost, local specifics, maintenance, etc.), and ensuring sufficient provision in building design.
- Calculating or estimating thermal needs.
- Preparing tender and requisition documents for detailed studies, manufacturing, assembly, and testing of HVAC equipment.
- Monitoring technical aspects of suppliers and verifying supplier documents.
- Participating in inspections and performance tests of HVAC equipment.
- Constantly interacting with other departments (Installation, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, HSE, etc.) to centralize requests, clarify needs, analyze supplier deviations, and resolve technical issues and evaluate supplier proposals.
- Supporting class 3 and class 2 estimates
- Be prepared to travel in the UK and overseas for meetings, equipment testing and site technical support to meet Project requirements.
About You
Wed love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful you should consider the following requirements:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering and Chartered Engineer Status preferred.
- A HNC with extensive experience can also be considered.
- If without Degree or chartered, applicable experience shall be clearly demonstrated.
- Previous experience as a team member in major infrastructure is required. E.g. Energy, Industry, Oil and Gas, Pharmaceutical sectors.
- Must be familiar with international standards applicable for HVAC.
- Must be fluent in technical English, and capable of participating in meetings and drafting technical documents in English.
- Minimum 7 years experience in an HVAC engineering role.
- Good knowledge of UK and European regulatory requirements.
- Interest in broadening skills and knowledge to support other mechanical discipline activities.
- Experience leading small teams.
- Exposure to construction sites.
