Your role:
As Team Manager Commissioning and Placements, within the Children & Families Directorate, you will support the Service Manager Commissioning to manage the strategic development, operational delivery, performance, human and financial resources within the Children Looked After Placements Team.
About you:
You will have relevant qualification(s) and/or will be able to demonstrate a significant experience of commissioning for children's services including home finding.
You will have extensive experience of managing and driving high performing teams in a fast-paced environment. You will have extensive experience of children's services regulations, children's safeguarding procedures, home finding functions including quality assurance and outcomes-based commissioning.
You will be an enthusiastic, highly motivated and professional individual who has experience of working with wider children's stakeholders, partners and political members. You will have experience of producing complex, detailed and accurate written work, including the examination and extraction of information from a variety of different data sources evaluating the relevance and accuracy of the information.
You will have experience of working in a political, pressurised and deadline driven environment.
