This Position reports to:
Senior Project Lead Engineer

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the ELSP LVS NPP business in Xiamen, China.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Provide technical support to the sales team during the pre-sales phase.
• Clarify technical issues during project design. Maintain continuous communication with customers to understand their needs, determine optimal technical solutions, create equipment drawings and bills of materials.
• Release approved drawings for production and coordinate to resolve issues.
• Proactively follow up on project progress, maintaining good communication with customers. Assist after-sales engineers in resolving field issues.
• Prepare qualification test procedures, oversee testing, evaluate data, drive root-cause analysis and improvement, and prepare summary reports.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in designing low-voltage switchgear assemblies.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant IEC and GB product standards. Strong understanding of electrical power distribution systems and components.
• Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD).
• Ability to read, understand, and create technical documentation in English.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
