As a Design Engineer in Advanced Technology Thermal Systems Design team, you will be responsible for supporting thermal design of engine components such as combustor and turbine. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to development efforts in new technology projects for jet engines. In this role you will develop your knowledge and competences to identify problems, find solutions, and demonstrate thermal design and analytical skills.

The FALI Analytic Developer in Services Engineering oversees and develops physic-based analytical solutions and models to solve technical and program issues involving field issues, TOW/UERs, SV workscope & strategy, CSA contract management and SV Costs, Shop Visit/Material Forecasting and Fleet Model pressures. Works closely with/across the Product Line in the development of analytics strategy and leads root cause analyses. Works closely with a global team in the development and execution of state-of-the art analytical models/methods. Drives LEAN disciplines/activities across business. Mentors others in analytic disciplines.

Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Finds and interprets data sources, manages large amounts of data, merges data sources together, ensures consistency of data-sets, creates visualizations to aid in understanding data, and communicates insights / findings in simplified way to reach people who not understand complex statistics
- Inputs and influence over decisions within own discipline and area
- Developed strong communication and diplomacy skills
- Communicates recommendations and solutions across direct organization and with cross-functional partner organizations
- Primary focus is within the direct organization / function
- Presents project plans, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders (EB and SEB) within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams
- Complex decision making ability; influences decision making with external parties
- Deep technical expertise within field of Information Technology
- Viewed internally and externally as a specialist within the discipline
- Work closely with the Product owner to understand reporting needs
- Prioritize reporting needs working the product owner
- Prioritize, prototype, design, build, test and deploy analytics models and scorecards in agile methodology
- Develop communication, training and change management deliverables required to increase adoption
Required Qualification
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- This role requires significant experience in the Engineering, Technology, Data Science and/or Data Analytics.
