Planning & Fulfillment Specialist

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

The Indirect Procurement Specialist is responsible for ensuring full compliance with the company's procurement policies and procedures across all indirect purchasing activities. This role ensures the effective execution of the end-to-end Purchase Order (PO) cycle, drives continuous process improvements, identifies savings opportunities, and promotes efficient replenishment strategies. The role acts as a key control point in aligning procurement operations with internal governance and business goals.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Area in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ensure strict adherence to corporate procurement policies and internal control requirements in all indirect purchasing activities.
• Oversee the full Purchase Order lifecycle, from request initiation to PO closure and post-order analysis.
• Monitor procurement transactions to ensure accurate coding, documentation, and approval flows.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process efficiency, and automation within indirect spend categories.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Operations, Legal) to ensure procurement processes meet cross-functional needs.
• Track and analyze procurement KPIs and performance metrics to highlight deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain procurement documentation and audit trails to support compliance and reporting requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary records and justifications related to indirect procurement.
• Contribute to forecasting and budget planning by providing insights on purchasing trends and consumption patterns.
• Lead initiatives related to procurement process standardization, automation, and best practices deployment.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, or similar engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in similar roles as Internal Project Specialist, Manufacturing Engineer, Facilities Engineer.
• Experience in quoting maintenance service providers and indirect materials.
• Focus on supplier management and monitoring, service, quality, lead time, and cost of indirect services.
• Experience in manufacturing/managing plant improvement projects.
• Technical expertise with supplier negotiations, quotes, etc.
• Experience with SAP.
• Intermediate/advanced English.
