This Position reports to:
Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate service work done at site and ensure it complies with ABB's and customer's guidelines. Each day, you will act as a single point of contact for the customer during the execution of a service job. You will also showcase your expertise by leading and delivering responsive support coordination to exceed customer expectations/experience.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid (Office/Remote)

This role is contributing to the Motion Service in Belgium. Main stakeholders are end Customers, Partners, Field Service Engineers, Service Coordination Team, Sales Team, Customer Service Team and Internal ABB Stakeholders.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Identifying gaps in service delivery, responding to daily customer requests, overseeing intervention execution, and maintaining a strong customer focus, while collaborating with engineers and operations managers to address and resolve identified issues.
  • Tracking completion of service visits and ensuring all documentation are completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining and monitoring competency and certification database.
  • Collaborating with other coordinators to ensure Field Service Engineers resources are allocated to maximize completion of customer service requests and contract delivery.


Your main responsibilities:
  • Plan maintenance interventions for service engineers at customer sites, including logistics flow.
  • Keep the team and customers informed of progress and status through clear and consistent communication.
  • Act as the primary point of contact (via email and phone) for customers, service engineers, and all other stakeholders.
  • Provide job descriptions to engineers for service execution and prepare safety plans according to ISO and VCA standards.
  • Monitor all ongoing small projects to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Manage all necessary reports and documentation and oversee timely recording of required data in the system.
  • Report and take necessary actions towards customers and the sales team based on maintenance reports.
  • Identify key opportunities for improvement in products, services, and processes, and share the findings.

Qualifications for the role
  • Positive mindset with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and efficiently use various tools, including Salesforce, SAP, and ABB proprietary tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to remain effective under pressure, and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
  • Experience in a service-related role is appreciated.
  • Willingness to develop both planning skills and technical affinity is essential.
  • Enthusiasm for exploring innovative technologies is a must.
  • Proficiency in Dutch or French and English.
  • Effective communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
