This Position reports to:
Quality Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure local unit has the necessary capabilities to effectively control products and systems. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and implementing standards and test methods to ensure only compliant products, software, and services are released to the customer.

This role is contributing to the {Indoor Products (IDP)} in {Xiamen China} . Main stakeholders are {ELDS} .

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Oversee the comprehensive quality control system from the supplier end through incoming material inspection, directly managing the two core functions of SQE (Supplier Quality Engineering) and IQC (Incoming Quality Control). Ensure seamless integration and data sharing between proactive prevention and reactive inspection to fundamentally enhance supplier material quality and reduce supplier quality issues along with related key KPIs.
  • Guide the SQE team in executing supplier audits and qualification certifications. Drive continuous improvement initiatives (including Lean Six Sigma and PPS, etc.) for existing suppliers. Strategically elevate the quality level of the entire supplier base through data analysis and regular performance reviews, aiming to reduce issues at the source.
  • Be responsible for optimizing the overall operation of incoming quality inspection, including the establishment of inspection standards, training and management of inspectors, and supervision of non-conforming product handling processes. Ensure the IQC team's work is efficient and accurate, forming a tight closed-loop with the SQE team to effectively feed inspection results back to the supplier for improvement.

Qualifications for the role
  • Minimum of 5 years of team management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in supply chain quality management, supplier development and auditing, incoming inspection, or related areas is preferred.
  • Strong cross-departmental communication and writing skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly preferred.

  • 指导SQE团队执行供应商的审核与资质认证,驱动现有供应商的持续改进(包括精益六西格玛和PPS等),并通过数据分析和定期绩效评审,战略性地提升整个供应商群体的质量水平,从源头削减问题发生。
  • 负责优化来料检验的整体运作,包括检验标准的制定、检验员的培训与管理,以及不合格品处理流程的监督。确保IQC团队的工作高效、准确,并能够与SQE团队形成紧密闭环,将检验结果有效反馈至供应商改进端。
  • 岗位要求:
  • 团队管理经验5年以上
  • 机械、电子、电气、材料等专业本科或以上
  • 拥有供应链质量管理、供应商开发与审核、进货检验等相关工作经验者优先
  • 较好的跨部门沟通能力、写作能力
  • 较好的英语口语和书面沟通能力
  • 精益六西格玛黑带优先
