As an Account Manager (AM) at Emerson's T&M (Test & Measurement) Business Unit, formerly NI, you will be integrated in a high-performance team of account managers, representing a respected industry brand with highly differentiated products and extensive customer support capabilities in a key investment industry for Emerson T&M. The Account Manager (AM) for the Benelux is a sales leadership role that covers key accounts across Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg!
The AM will be responsible for delivering growth at some of our most strategic accounts for EMEA. The AM will lead an account team with strategic direction through appropriate leadership and delegation.
The AM will be required to develop and influence sales resources, while partnering with our Aerospace Defense & Government (ADG) Business Unit to drive strategic objectives and sales results through an organized strategy and Account Plan objectives. They will have to coordinate plans with our Portfolio Business Unit to ensure growth across broad base business within the Benelux. Working with our Partners and wider ecosystem will be pivotal to achieving this, putting the foundations in for sustained growth and success.
The ability to drive customer engagements through presenting our test platform and having conversations on innovative technologies is a part of the day to day role.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Develops and executes creative, winning strategies and account plans that consistently deliver exceptional (double digit) account growth.
- Drives personal and influence team growth through accurately identifying and bringing to bear Emerson T&M strengths to creating compelling visions that drive action with internal and external decision makers to deliver to customer's critical initiatives.
- Expand horizons through identifying, developing and maintaining influential Sr Level relationships within the account that are readily accessible and agreeable to transparent discussions. Develops and demonstrates leadership through appropriate Executive alignment between Emerson T&M & account while coaching relationships on both sides.
- Grow influence and respect within customer and Emerson T&M through leading a coordinated strategy and company-wide execution to ensure Emerson T&M and customer success.
- Proactively builds strategies in partnership with ADG Business Unit and Partners to maximize serviceable account opportunities and increase market penetration.
- Coaches, develops, and celebrates success with indirect reports and credits team efforts.
Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
- 5+ years experience in business-to-business high tech sales, OR, test engineering using NI products.
- Located in Belgium, Netherlands or Luxemburg or willing to relocate
- Native English speaker
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience selling to large named accounts in Aerospace and Defense. Track record of delivering revenue growth year-on-year
- Experience leading a cross-functional team (sales, marketing, technical) to engage with Sr. Leadership
- Experience selling in a long sales cycle with complex custom engineering for both hardware and software solutions.
- Bachelor's Engineering degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science preferred
- Dutch speaker
