About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Officer to join the Finance Department. You will manage the procurement activities of the university, ensuring the complaint procurement and purchase of goods and services in a cost-effective, timely, and efficient manner. This role involves developing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to support the university's operational needs.

About You

As Procurement Officer, you will have:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in procurement, preferably in an educational or public sector environment
• A proven track record of successful contract negotiation and supplier management
• Experience of completing procurement procedures under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (RCR15) and the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23).
• Experience of managing relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
