The Project Operations Business Division produces process design packages, proprietary and automation equipment, modular units and process furnaces, from design to start-up, for refineries, petrochemical and industrial sites of our customers, on the group's traditional Oil & Gas technologies as well as on technologies linked to renewables (bio sources, recycling,...). Its objective is to ensure quality projects, respecting costs and schedules and preserving the safety of all.

Missions :

Your main missions will be as follows:

To face its activity increase, Project Operations Business Division needs to strengthen its teams and is looking for one System & Automation Project Manager (M/F).

System & Automation Project Group handles several tasks and functions. Project Managers are key elements to perform this duty:

Automation System Procurement Projects

An Automation PM mostly handle two main activities in a procurement project:

• Manage the good execution of the projet by follow-up of third parties and by reporting the progress to client or management.
• Take part of the hardware design and perform the software development of PLC program and HMI.
• In addition, Automation PM is also involved in site services such as pre-com./commissioning services and support to the unit/equipment start-up.

This job involves international travel abroad at a very various rate of around 2 mouth per year cumulative (typical mission is 2 to 3 weeks long).

Development

Automation PM is involved in the development of new equipment and technology that Axens group is promoting. It implies to work with passionate experts on various field such as electrical heaters, plastic recycling, battery component, CCSU and obviously bio-carbon.

Automation Discipline

From time-to-time System & Automation Group support Process Project and procurement of Modular unite/Heater/Skid project as automation experts by taking parts of control narrative, functional analysis writing.

This job covers many different tasks that are usually split in different departments; this makes the work very various and exciting.

You will work within a dynamic team that shares multidisciplinary technical knowledge and experience acquired in previous positions. Team mindset is a key factor for the success of our group activities.

Knowledge and Required Level :

• You are a confirmed Engineer in Automation and Industrial Computing, with successful experience as Project Manager or Project Engineer and with autonomy of action compatible with the importance of the projects entrusted.
• You have a deep skill in PLC programming especially under Siemens PCS7 and/or Allan Bradley Rockwell Studio Logix.
• Ideally you have a valuable knowledge on Distributed Control System (DCS) such as Yokogawa, Honeywell, ABB, Invensys, ...
• Ideally you have extended knowledge about international standards for industrial applications.
• Experience in process start-up will be highly appreciated.
• Knowledge of engineering and safety standards is appreciated.
• A good level in English and French, both written and spoken, is essential.
