We are looking for a Project Engineer - Lean Production (m/f/d) to sustainably improve our production processes and actively contribute to operational excellence. In this role, you will work at the intersection of production, engineering, and planning, driving cross-site optimizations, standardizations, and the implementation of efficient Lean methods. You combine strategic thinking with strong hands-on execution - structured, pragmatic, and impact-driven.

Deine Aufgaben

Lean Excellence & Process Optimization
  • Develop and implement Lean strategies and production standards
  • Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Plan and execute optimization projects, including the definition of production parameters
  • Build clear KPI systems and structure manufacturing instructions
  • Promote a strong safety culture and standardize complex production processes
Project Management & Implementation
  • Lead and support operational projects in close collaboration with production, planning, and engineering teams
  • Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training materials
  • Select and procure production tools and aids together with technical departments
Cross-site Collaboration & Standardization
  • Harmonize and improve processes across multiple production sites
  • Apply and facilitate Lean methods (e.g. 5S, Kaizen, SMED, VSM)
  • Report and communicate project progress to relevant stakeholders

Minimum Qualifikationen

  • University degree in engineering or completed training as a state-certified technician (e.g. in mechanical or electrical engineering)
  • 2-7 years of professional experience, ideally in a mid-sized manufacturing company
  • Strong hands-on mentality with a focus on practical and implementable solutions
  • High level of initiative and ability to identify improvement areas and translate them into action
  • Experience with Lean methods (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Toyota Production System)
  • Cost-conscious and process-oriented thinking

Vorteilhafte Qualifikationen

  • Experience in data analysis, particularly for investment decision preparation
  • Experience in cross-functional teamwork in interdisciplinary projects
  • Initial experience in the food or flavor industry
  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Navision
