Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Respond to and track reports from internal and external customers.
- Perform initial triage of issues, with the goal of resolving more complex problems over time as your familiarity and skillset grow.
- Oversee defined IT processes to ensure proper execution; identify and report any issues or variances.
- Interact with customer systems (e.g., logging in, copying files, configuring software).
- Log bugs and feature requests in tracking systems.
- Document problem-solving steps to contribute to a growing knowledge base.
- Monitor support issue distribution to identify optimization opportunities.
- Identify problematic processes and applications; review error logs and source code to help determine reproduction paths.
- Investigate software crashes, with potential involvement in coding bug fixes.
- Proactively identify opportunities to reduce future support burdens.
- Resolve day-to-day issues related to strategy implementation; escalate issues that impact clients or strategic initiatives.
- Participate in key initiatives as a project team member, executing defined tasks to achieve project goals.
Education Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Desired Characteristics
Technical Expertise
- Experience in sustainment engineering, technical customer support, or software development.
- Hands-on operations experience across applications, operating systems, and network-level support.
- Familiarity with basic computer networking and common end-user troubleshooting.
- Experience with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android operating systems.
Business Acumen
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining strategic alignment.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to understand and clearly communicate complex business and technical concepts.
- Demonstrated customer focus.
