Your role
As our Quality Assurance Manager, you set the highest standards for quality across all products and processes. You'll drive continuous improvement and ensure that every Siemens E-Mobility charger meets our global standards for excellence.
Your key responsibilities
Ensure structured problem-solving
- Lead comprehensive root cause analyses for non-conformities and implement effective preventive actions.
- Apply and embed the 8D methodology for consistent, systematic problem resolution.
- Support and coordinate regular FMEA updates to maintain current risk assessments.
Drive supplier and product quality
- Issue and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to suppliers for defective parts and drive supplier quality improvements.
- Evaluate customer claims and coordinate root cause investigations throughout the supply chain.
- Manage claim processes throughout the complete supply chain to ensure end-to-end quality accountability.
- Lead Non-Conformance Case (NCC) deep dive investigations to identify systemic issues and unlock solutions.
Strengthen customer satisfaction in Europe
- Act as quality contact for customers in collaboration with Sales and Regional teams, to address quality related inquiries and concerns.
- Manage complaint handling, customer reports, and improvement action plans and coordinate customer visits when required.
- Lead product care quality initiatives to safeguard long-term customer satisfaction.
Drive supplier and product quality
- Issue and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to suppliers for defective parts and drive supplier quality improvements.
- Evaluate customer claims and coordinate root cause investigations throughout the supply chain.
- Manage claim processes throughout the complete supply chain to ensure end-to-end quality accountability.
- Lead Non-Conformance Case (NCC) deep dive investigations to identify systemic issues and unlock solutions.
Ensure product safety
- Manage product safety alerts and ensure compliance to all safety standards and regulations.
Lead and improve quality management
- Steer production review processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Define and monitor meaningful quality metrics and KPIs to monitor and enhance performance and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and related standards.
What you bring
You combine analytical thinking with a hands-on approach and a genuine drive for continuous improvement.
- A technical degree in (Electrical) Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Management.
- Proven experience in quality management systems and tools (8D, FMEA, RCA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and implementing quality initiatives.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and the product development lifecycle.
Bonus points for:
- Experience in the automotive or e-mobility industry.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality standards.
- Lean Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
- Experience in supplier quality management and/or project management.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the automotive/mobility sector.
