The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Essential criteria
- Post graduate qualification or equivalent experience in a project environment.
- A good knowledge of construction, especially the development, adaptation and refurbishment of buildings.
- At least 2-years experience working in architecture and/or technician (AutoCAD) role, preferably within a Healthcare environment. Post holder should have experience of Preparing detailed working drawings Preparing specifications Preparing tender documentation Management of construction projects Consultation and liaison with diverse user groups Note: sandwich placement to aiming to have this experience following placement.
- A good knowledge of construction, especially the development, adaptation and refurbishment of buildings.
- Ability to identify and prioritise own workload in order to meet the requirements of the department. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Ability to work on own initiative within a busy office environment. Methodical approach to tasks set along with a willingness to advance oneself.
Desirable criteria
- Up-to-date knowledge of modern healthcare design and procurement guidance.
- A working knowledge of:- Word processing Spreadsheets Data base systems Email systems Design Software
