This Position reports to:
Global IS Department Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to serve as a technology expert with strategic focus on both functional and non-functional requirements to define and deliver the architecture of software platforms, applications, and solutions. Each day, you will lead the architectural design and provide oversight for development, testing, operational readiness, and implementation of those platforms and solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by demonstrating significant level of customer-centricity and service excellence for both internal stakeholders, peers, and customers.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Nurturing architectural and design integrity with software architectural and design patterns for your own modules, sub-systems, systems, individual tiers of complex software platforms, and/or application suites and products.
• Making effective judgment calls and decisions on ways to optimize the design for conflicting priorities, making appropriate trade-offs, leveraging system instrumentation, team, and end-user feedback cycles, and communicating them to the stakeholders for their buy-in.
• Identifying the metrics proactively and implementing the methods to understand customer's needs and sentiment to improve efficiency and performance, through active development.
• Ensuring to deliver user-friendly and valuable software by receiving active feedback from customers and stakeholders and accordingly improving and adapting through continuous solutions delivery.

Qualifications for the role

• Master's degree in technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems)
• min. 5 years of experience in Snowflake and Azure
• 15+ years of experience in Data Warehouses architecture, ETL/ELT tools, Data platform engineering, cloud architecture, or software architecture, Data Modeling,
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale data & analytics platforms.
• Knowledge in: Software development methodologies (e.g., SAFE/ Agile / DevOps), ITIL methodologies, Programming languages, particularly SQL, Python
• Fluent spoken and written English (Min. C1 Level)
• A mindset to innovate, take ownership, and drive continuous improvement
• Efficient communicating in a complex environment, excellent negotiation skills, managing large number of stakeholders, managing escalations, consulting C-levels, influencing Steering Committees, etc.
• Demonstrating resilience, self-control, and the capacity to effectively manage stress and pressure.
