This Position reports to:
HSE Manager
Your Role: Own the Challenge
- Facilitating HSE risk assessment by line management of shop floor employees, ie, those directly affected by hazards, and ensure all processes are implemented. And Reporting and investigating HSE incidents.
- Providing feedback on lessons learned as well as best practices from both own unit and across ABB, to management and employees. And Implementing policies and standards and ensures the area of responsibility is audited.
- Assists line managers and supervisors in understanding obligations, liabilities and role fulfillment, according to local HSE law as well as ABB Group and business-specific requirements. In parallel that you will be driving behavioral change through the local implementation of Group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.
- Engaging external stakeholders (eg, customers, suppliers, relevant authorities) and internal stakeholders to report on, raise awareness of, gain commitment to and obtain objective feedback on ABB's HSE. efforts and performance. And Cooperating with other functions and business partners to drive HSE performance.
- Embedding an exemplary health and safety culture, as well as a strong focus on the environment, throughout the respective organization with ensuring that the appropriate safety equipment and tools are available and used.
What it takes to Run what runs the world
- You should have 5-7 years of experience working in the HSE field, preferably in manufacturing industry.
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent practical qualification.
- Holds a NEBOSH certificate 'IGC'.
- Robust knowledge of ISO standards (45001:2018 & 14001:2015).
- Fluency in written & spoken English.
