This Position reports to:
Manufacturing Unit Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will support the development and enhancement of planning, fulfillment, and warehouse processes, tools, and capabilities. Working closely on performance improvement initiatives, you will assist in enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across operations. Reporting to the LPG Manager, you will conduct detailed evaluations of key metrics, including inventory levels, on-time delivery, lead times, forecast accuracy, and resource utilization.

The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Business in Quartino, Switzerland.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Coordinating Planning and Fulfillment Activities: Coordinate with Fulfillment, Warehouse, and Customer Support teams; oversee forecasting, MPS, backlog management, and operations alignment.
• Optimizing Inventory and Supplier Management: Monitor and report on inventory and ITO forecasts; oversee cross-functional reviews; analyze purchasing processes and improve supplier performance.
• Overseeing Data and Warehouse Management: Manage master data validation processes; manage warehouse operations; implement and maintain Warehouse Management Systems.
• Enhancing Performance and Global Collaboration: Track and optimize operations KPIs; collaborate on global initiatives with Division, GPG, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution.

Qualifications for the role

• 10 years of experience in SCM, working as Planning Manager or equivalent with complex / electronics based products
• Management / Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent
• Sound knowledge of APICS, Lean Methodologies and the Electronics, UPS market
• Knowledge of SAP, MS excel, MS access, MS PowerPoint
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and proficient written and spoken communication skills
