The Executive Branch Affairs Vice President is a senior leader responsible for developing, managing, and advancing KBR's relationships with all U.S. government executive branch agencies-including the White House, Departments of War, State, Commerce, Homeland Security, NASA, and the General Services Administration. This role is pivotal in shaping KBR's government engagement strategy, driving acquisition and procurement priorities, and influencing regulatory and policy outcomes to support KBR's growth and mission objectives. This leader will also have critical responsibilities to elevate the customer perception of KBR's Mission Technology Solutions (MTS) business in the U.S. Government Washington DC ecosystem at the Pentagon and with senior executive branch leaders at the 2-star or civilian equivalent level and above.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Relationship Management:
- Serve as KBR's primary liaison to executive branch organizations, ensuring proactive engagement and advocacy for KBR's interests.
- Build and sustain high-impact relationships with senior officials across federal agencies, the White House, and key regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate with trade associations, think tanks, community partners, and advocacy organizations to advance KBR's priorities and reputation.
- Work in partnership with Legislative Affairs Vice President to ensure consistent messaging across US government customers
Stakeholder Engagement and Advocacy:
- Represent KBR at industry events, executive branch meetings, and special forums.
- Lead a robust campaign to align U.S. Government executive branch leadership perception of KBR to a compelling, consistent narrative
- Develop and execute advocacy campaigns to support KBR's business goals.
- Support visits by company leaders to government offices and facilitate government officials' visits to KBR facilities.
Internal Coordination and Communication:
- Create and execute effective processes to engage business leadership across KBR MTS,objectives into executive branch strategies and aligning internal customer messaging to achieve maximum impact
- Provide regular updates and strategic guidance to KBR's executive leadership on government relations activities, emerging risks, and opportunities.
- Maximize the effectiveness of KBR's suppliers, industry groups, and external consultants in advancing company priorities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in government relations activities.

Qualifications
- Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in government relations, public policy, or executive branch affairs, preferably within the defense or government services sector, and including at least 3 years of experience in industry roles.
- Deep understanding of U.S. government budget policy, acquisition and procurement cycles, and executive branch cultures and key players.
- Proven track record of influencing policy, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and driving business outcomes in a government context.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in public policy, law, business, or related field preferred.
- U.S. citizenship and TS security clearance (with SCI eligibility) required
