Role Overview
As a Project Manager within the EMEA region, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering software integration and professional services projects for key clients, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project scope and risks, and act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of SW and Professional Services projects (e.g., Android app deployment, TMS configuration, certifications, and custom developments).
- Lead project planning, resource coordination, risk and issue management.
- Monitor progress, ensure adherence to deadlines, and report status to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with software development teams, QA, security/compliance, and hardware teams when applicable.
- Coordinate customer deliverables, including documentation, testing, certification, and training.
- Serve as the main contact for clients during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with PCI and Ingenico internal processes and quality standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement of delivery practices and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, ideally in software or IT/telecom sectors.
- Proven experience managing software integration or service delivery projects in a customer-facing role.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across countries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken) - mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- Background in payments, fintech, or POS technology.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, international environment.
