This role uniquely combines structured PMO leadership with the agility of project delivery, ensuring our innovation pipeline delivers consumer-centric solutions with speed, precision, and impact.

You'll oversee the governance of the innovation portfolio while directly managing high-impact projects - collaborating across R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality, and external partners to turn ideas into reality.

Key responsibilities:
  • Project Delivery

Lead strategic innovation projects, ensuring delivery against defined scope, timeline, and budget.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and external partners.

Monitor project health, risks, and dependencies - proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain momentum.

Support exec-level visibility through clear and concise updates for senior leadership and steering committees.
  • PMO & Portfolio Governance

Establish and maintain frameworks, tools, and best practices to drive consistency and excellence across all innovation initiatives.

Manage PMO operations for the innovation portfolio, including resource planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and performance reporting.

Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards to provide actionable insights and decision support.

Coordinate Horizon governance processes - ensuring clear visibility and prioritization across short-, mid-, and long-term innovation opportunities.
  • People & Capability Leadership

Lead and mentor a small team of project managers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on delivery, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Promote cross-functional learning and capability building across the innovation and PMO community.

Champion agile and innovative ways of working, embedding accountability, creativity, and efficiency in project delivery.

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

You are a highly motivated professional with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field, bringing over 5 years of experience in project management and/or PMO roles within FMCG, food, or consumer goods industries. You have a proven track record of delivering consumer-facing innovation projects in complex, fast-paced environments and a strong understanding of innovation governance, portfolio management, and agile methodologies. With excellent analytical abilities and advanced Excel skills - and familiarity with Power BI as a plus - you combine data-driven insight with strategic thinking. You are an exceptional communicator and stakeholder manager, capable of influencing and aligning across diverse functions and regions. Known for your strategic mindset and hands-on approach, you thrive both in big-picture planning and detailed execution. Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable, you bring a genuine passion for food innovation and a drive to deliver meaningful value to consumers.
