Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Future Research & Technology project engineer h/f to join our team based in Marignane, France.

Your challenges:

As a Future R&T Project Engineer (m/f), your main responsibilities and activities will include:
  • Participation in ongoing research projects within the AH R&T organization, in the civil and military fields, on topics related to the automation of our helicopters, drones, and drone/helicopter collaboration (e.g., obstacle detection and recognition systems, development and demonstration of drone/helicopter collaboration functions, etc.)
  • Participation in the definition of objectives and high-level technical requirements
  • Participation in functional and architectural analyses to meet project requirements
  • Participation in the development and/or evaluation of technological building blocks or functions through simulations, bench tests, and testing on drones or prototype helicopters
  • Exploring the technical, manufacturing, and operational aspects of the developed technological building blocks or capabilities; This includes the ability to assess value and cost-benefit ratios.
  • Participation in analyses of competing products, at the aircraft and/or vehicle and system levels, for the benefit of the Strategy, Marketing, Sales, and Design functions.
