STAR Procurement is the award winning shared procurement service for Stockport, Trafford, Tameside, Rochdale, Knowsley and St Helens Councils. STAR Procurement provides a strategic procurement service, ensuring that its Councils obtain best value when contracting with third party suppliers.

This role offers exceptional exposure and experience across six councils, providing the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, communities, and service areas.

The team is employed by Trafford Council. STAR Procurement/Trafford Council recognise the benefits of working from home, however there are also benefits of spending some time alongside colleagues in an office environment and so we offer a 'Smart Working' approach which includes Hybrid working. The office is based at Waterside House in Sale.
