Overview

If you want to do a design internship, you are passionate about large-scale projects and you want to live an experience in a consulting engineering firm, the industrial mechanics and piping team is the one for you. The Toronto team is currently very busy and will be for the next few years on projects in the mining, water, oil and gas and chemical sectors.

Your role

• Participation in the design of plans, specifications and mechanical and piping details.
• Preparation of design calculations according to standards, codes and regulations.
• Participation in the preparation of mechanical and piping plans.
• Drafting of technical specifications for pre-purchase and construction.
• Technical analysis of bids.
• Development of piping and instrumentation diagrams.

About you

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering program
• Knowledge of one or more of the following software: Autocad, Autocad Plant 3D, Revit, SolidWorks, PIPE-FLO.
• Interest in industrial and/or building process mechanics.
