This Position reports to:
Purchasing Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the identification of new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:
- Analyzing purchasing data, market trends, and supplier metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to track KPIs, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels.
- Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
- Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.
- Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.
- Verifying external capacity of all suppliers and approaching new ones on the market.
- Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.
Qualifications for the role
- You hold a degree in Finance, Economics, or Management Engineering.
- You are interested in building your career in product engineering, supply chain, or procurement.
- You have a solid understanding of cost analysis and financial evaluation, ideally within supply chain or purchasing functions.
- You have k nowledge of designing and managing relational databases with MS SQL, and familiarity with web development languages for both frontend and backend (e.g., PHP, .NET, JavaScript)
- You are at ease communicating in both Italian and English.
- You have good proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- You bring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
