IDEAAS TO3, MDA Tradespace is an effort that supports MDA prototype tradespace analysis processes and methodologies through the development of a digital ecosystem leveraging a secure collaborative space. KBR provides experienced and qualified staff, along with the necessary capabilities to enable the Government to make more informed decisions across all levels of the organization by leveraging advanced operational research, data analytics, and digital engineering tools and techniques.
Job Summary
KBR is searching for an experienced Program Manager applicant in Colorado Springs, CO to join our team. In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for applying their knowledge and experience with MDA project execution in support of multiple customers, contractors, and internal/external stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Lead and execute complex program efforts in support of the MDA Program Office and contractors, ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
• Manage cost, schedule, and performance across all phases of the program lifecycle, applying validated cost/schedule control systems (e.g., EVMS).
• Develop and maintain program plans, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring adequate funding availability and timely submission of requests.
• Analyze and interpret technical and financial data to support decision-making and maintain accurate performance metrics.
• Prepare and deliver briefings, white papers, and reports for customer and executive-level reviews, including acquisition summaries.
• Coordinate contractual requirements and incorporate changes into control systems to maintain realistic cost and schedule baselines.
• Support proposal pricing and develop program estimates for new business while managing expenditures against legacy budgets.
• Utilize databases and tools for cost analysis and financial management, ensuring compliance with security and program requirements.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams (engineering, security, technical leads) to achieve program milestones and resolve issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency in communications, information flow, and organizational procedures.
• Mentor and advise project teams on strategies for complex, high-risk efforts; contribute to program and organizational strategy.
• Serve as primary customer contact for assigned scope, influencing decisions and ensuring successful program outcomes.
• Leads activities involved in the development of the fiscal AOP and STRAP for multiple sites/teams associated with the product line.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and 15+ years direct experience with DoD program management with direct experience managing profit and loss.
• Must be located in Colorado Springs, CO
• Some travel may be required.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, with a focus on innovation and delivering mission-critical results.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office suite of applications. Expert in Microsoft Power Point. Experience with Microsoft Teams platforms
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
• Program Management Professional certification
• Experience working with or supporting U.S. military branches, ideally in the space or defense sectors
• Advanced Degree (M.S. / Master's Degree in Business Administration or Technical Master's Degree)
• Experience in Earned Value Management concepts
• Active security clearance
Salary Range: $136,290 - $204,435
The salary range posted is based on Colorado Springs, CO. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
