JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE : LEAD PROCESS ENGINEER (Gas Technologies)

Senior Lead Process Engineer with minimum 15 years experience in design, execution and commissioning of Process Packages (Gas Technologies) for Upstream Oil & Gas (mainly Offshore) and Renewable Energy sectors. International experience in similar position with providers of Process Packages or EPC Contractors is essential requirement.

Fluency in English language is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES AND DUTIES :

• Provide input to Sales Manager during bid evaluation process ensuring the company has a technological competitive advantage
• Review request for quotation (RFQ) packages and ensure thorough understanding of the client's requirements
• Select appropriate technology and design concept
• Basic & Detail engineering involving heat & mass balance calculation, preparation of piping & instrument diagram (P&ID), process flow diagram (PFD), utility flow diagram (UFD), material selection diagram (MSD), line sizing, sizing of equipment (like tanks, pumps, heat exchangers). Use of HYSYS and HTRI sizing software.
• Preparing Engineering specification, Process package and process data sheets for equipment & instruments
• Developing control philosophy, logics, and cause & effect diagram
• Reviewing of vendor quotes for technical compliance with project specifications and requirements
• Participate in client visits, presentations and marketing of company capabilities
• Prepare and develop process designs for proposals (Gas Technologies / Renewables)
• Support preparation of cost estimates for proposals in collaboration with other company departments including proposal, supply chain management and projects
• Preparation of technical proposals and technical clarifications and negotiations with customers during tender evaluation
• Assist with the handover of confirmed orders to projects including all correspondences, pricing, specifications and design notes
• Completely involved in process design after award of order and until commissioning
• Preparing PFD & P&ID, GA drawing after award of order
• Coordinate with global technology resources to ensure consistency of design, sharing of experience and common approach to technologies
• Develop and maintain good relations with clients and technological partners
• Assist Project Department in process related issues during project execution.
• Observe company and client HSE procedures and requirements
• Continuously evaluate and take initiative to improvement of products, technology and internal procedures to ensure company's competitiveness
• Contribute to maintenance and upgrade of technology within allocated product responsibilities
• Developing installation, operating and maintenance manuals
• Developing startup and commissioning procedure
• Lead plant commissioning, start-up and performance testing
• Familiar with industry codes and standards
