What you will do:
As a R2R Project Manager Fixed Assets, you will play a key role in aligning global strategies with local compliance needs, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence in asset lifecycle management.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive standardization of Fixed Assets lifecycle processes across business entities;
  • Define and document best practices for asset capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals;
  • Collaborate with local and central teams to ensure processes are aligned and ready for digital implementation;
  • Ensure compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations;
  • Act as the main local point of contact for country-specific Fixed Assets accounting topics;
  • Validate global solutions against local requirements and provide actionable feedback;
  • Support change management and communication efforts with finance teams;
  • Review and approve local exceptions or adaptations to global standards;
  • Facilitate training, documentation, and knowledge-sharing sessions as needed.


Desired education, expertise, and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar role or as an operational lead in Fixed Assets processes;
  • Expertise in Fixed Asset accounting and full asset lifecycle management;
  • Strong understanding of tax and regulatory implications of asset accounting (GAAP, IFRS);
  • Experience with SAP FI-AA or equivalent ERP modules;
  • Understanding of data migration and master data governance for assets;
  • Familiarity with digital finance tools and transformation initiatives;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).


Additional skills and competencies:
  • Strong process design and documentation capabilities
  • Ability to bridge operational needs with technical/system requirements;
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Change management and training facilitation experience;
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail;
  • Hands-on problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills;
  • Ability to translate local needs into actionable input for central project teams;
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall);
  • Experience in automation, process optimization, or efficiency initiatives.
