Key Responsibilities
Cost Planning & Forecasting
- Collaborate with business teams to prepare annual budgets, rolling 8-quarter forecasts, and Life-of-Field plans for cash costs and capital expenditures.
- Maintain and update planning systems (e.g., BPEs, CMT) while leveraging automation tools where possible.
- Consolidate and submit Quarterly Performance Forecast data, providing strategic analysis and commentary.
Performance Analysis & Insights
- Deliver comprehensive cost performance analysis supported by benchmarks and data analytics.
- Identify variances, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions in partnership with SMEs and Business Responsible Owners.
- Review historical and current cost trends to uncover efficiency opportunities.
Strategic Business Partnership
- Support business planning reviews with data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
- Manage forecasting of recharges for cost recovery processes, ensuring accurate management information and execution support.
- Work closely with regional teams to deliver performance planning, special projects, and ad hoc requests from business leadership.
Experience & Education
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Finance or Project Management, ideally within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to provide actionable insights in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to translate complex data into clear, concise business narratives.
