As a Credit Control & Collections Associate, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health while supporting our commitment to sustainable energy solutions. What you will do
- Manage recovery of outstanding receivables from Industrial & Commercial customers
- Conduct account reviews to identify and resolve non-payment issues
- Chase outstanding payments through various communication channels
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements in line with company policy
- Monitor aged debt and prioritize collection efforts based on risk
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and produce weekly reports on arrears and collection activity
- Support the legal and disconnection process for non-paying customers
What you will have
- Minimum 2 years of experience in collections or credit control
- Proven experience working with B2B or corporate accounts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Intermediate to strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- GCSE English and Mathematics Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Professional, confident, and diplomatic when interacting with others
- Ability to succeed in a complex and dynamic environment
- Energy industry knowledge (desirable but not essential)

This is a hybrid position based in our Leeds office, offering a balance between on-site and remote work.
